You’ll help founders win top talent, teach them how to recruit like marketers, and build a dynamic operator network that supports our companies and sharpens our competitive edge at the term sheet stage.

We’re hiring a Director of Communications at Scale Venture Partners. This role is about building, not following playbooks—leading PR, social, and thought leadership while shaping how Scale shows up in the world. I need a Bay Area–based storyteller with deep VC ecosystem experience who’s curious, data-driven, AI-savvy, and hungry to push boundaries. You’ll be my thought partner—and have your fingerprints on Scale’s future.

This is an opportunity for independent consultants who enjoy hands-on work with founders, are comfortable advising early-stage teams, and have personally scaled B2B companies. Engagements typically involve 2-8 sessions, which are flexible, remote, and scoped based on real portfolio demand both in terms of topics and hours. You’ll work closely with the Head of Platform and Portfolio, supporting founders across emerging markets as they tackle concrete growth and GTM challenges.
