StepStone is hiring a Strategic Partnerships Associate, Venture Capital to help drive commercial outcomes for our portfolio companies by building and managing relationships across industries. This is a hands-on role for someone with 2–3 years of experience in business development, go-to-market strategy, or consulting, with a strong interest in startups and enterprise innovation. In this role, youll sit at the intersection of VC, emerging tech, and the Fortune 1000.

This role will serve as the principal finance manager for several emerging venture capital firms. You will help build and maintain fund models, capital budgets, and portfolio monitoring systems. We’ll teach you our way, you just have to be motivated and curious.

As a Strategic Projects Associate, you will support the President with project management, client engagement, design, and special projects related to business development, policy and regulation, and issue campaigns.

As a member of the investment team, this person will work directly with the General Partners, the Head of Value Creation, Updata’s Operating Partners, and portfolio company management teams to identify and drive growth acceleration initiatives, support long-term GTM strategy development, and serve as a super connector between portfolio companies, Updata’s network and Updata’s internal resources.
