With experience across all facets of the venture capital value chain, Candice has worked in domestic and global markets investing in and supporting startups for an accelerator, family office, impact fund, and tech venture firm. As an early team member at Village Capital, Candice sourced, trained, and invested in early stage companies participating in VilCap accelerator programs. She managed all deal flow with a pipeline of more than 10,000 companies sourced over fourteen months 2,000 of which were health tech companies, developed program content, hired and trained twenty associates and analysts, and sourced investors and corporate sponsors. At Endeavor, she aided in opening their second US-based office in Louisville, KY where she developed a mentor network of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 CEOs, Executives, and Founders to support growth stage company founders. In one year at Endeavor, she sourced and supported three healthcare companies, one of which has since gone public NASDAQ: APLS. Candice worked for a family office impact investment fund, Radicle Capital, where she managed and deployed capital across multiple asset classes and supported a portfolio of twenty early to growth stage startups. Currently, she’s an Executive at Florida Funders where she supports their portfolio companies post investment as Director of Founder Success. With eight years in venture, Candice has evaluated nearly 20,000 startups globally for accelerator admittance and fund investment. In a family office 8 figure AUM, she invested in 20 startups and saw two successful exits, one of which was SoFi. In her first 120-days at Florida Funders, Candice sourced and qualified 80+ engaged, FL-based investor-advisor-SMEs.
Candice attended the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey Bay, CA where she studied Impact Investing and Social Entrepreneurship Management. Additionally, she has two degrees in Biology and Communication with an emphasis in Corporate Marketing and Advertising from the University of Louisville.
